Chase has recently been commissioned by Tony Award Winner Pat Halloran to write a new musical which is looking to make a broadway run in late 2018. 


Currently directing Hamlet, Shrek: The Musical, My Fair Lady, Alice in Wonderland and Marry Poppins with the Utah Valley Symphony. Directing Hamlet and Ophelia go Swimming (World Premiere) at Salt Lake Fringe Festival. Writing an adaptation of The Velveteen Rabbit to be produced at Scera Center for the Arts


Recently in San Francisco directing two translations by Rob Melrose for The Cutting Ball Theatre. The Man with the Flower in his Mouth and The Stronger


Also directing the World Premiere of Another Fine Day in the Park by Andrew Saito for The Cutting Ball Theatre's Market Street Project.


Chase Ramsey is an award winning Director, Choreographer, Actor, and Designer. Recently worked with The Cutting Ball Theater and as the Theatrical Director for FantasyCon a new interactive based convention. Represented by TMG: Utah and Stars: San Francisco.


Chase's work has been seen at Berkeley Rep., The Kennedy Center, The Guthrie, Sundance, The Cutting Ball Theater, Campo Santo, Salt Lake Acting Company, The Salt Palace, Covey Center for the Arts, Hale Centre Theatre, Reagan Theater, Noorda Theater, Historical Murray Theater, Warboy Theatre Projects,  Utah Repertory Theatre Company, Connections Theatre Project, The Castle Theater,  Scera Center for the Arts, and The Sugar Space. 

Chase is Co-Creator of Warboy Theatre Projects, a non-profit new works based theatre company that focuses on unconventional process based work. He is also Co-Creator of Connections Theatre Projects: Theatre for communities with Autism, which uses theatre as therapy for children with Autism. He Recently became the Artistic Director for Utah COPA Youth Theatre. Chase has an undergrad in theatrical arts from Utah Valley University. 

In 2013 Chase became the Director of Entertainment for one of the largest conventions in the united states. FantasyCon caters to more that 60,000-80,000 people annually and covers 50,000 square feet of adventure.

He has taught with Pioneer School for the Performing Arts, Utah Conservatory for the Performing Arts, Maeser Academy, Scera Center for the Arts, Hale Center Theater Orem, and Utah COPA. Chase is a proud Member of the Society of Stage Director and Choreographers Union (SDC).

Chase has worked with such artists as Jack O'brian, Jack Hofsiss, Jason Alexander, Rob Melrose, Sean San Jose, Daniel Aukin, Peter Flynn, Patricia McGregor, Michael Locher, Kym Mellen, Chris Clark, David Tinney, David Morgan, Brian Vaughn, Sally and Mark Dietlein, Kevin Mhyre, Robin Wilkes Dunn, Mark Fossen, Clayborne Elder, Nikki Bohne, Derick Pead, James Arrington, Terry Petrie, and Lisa Hall Hagen.
